Roomify built a great Drupal distribution for vacation rentals, hotels and B&Bs. The next challenge was how to make this available to as many users as possible. The answer, of course, is to provide a SaaS-based solution that will allow anyone to fire up an instance and manage their site.
This session is going to look under the hood of the solution we built. Using Red Hat OpenShift we were able to create a SaaS service that launches a complicated Drupal site on demand for users in just a few minutes. Everything is automated and brings together a number of different services to provide the final result - from automated testing, packaging of the distro to how to overcome the usually very long installation process this is a great guide on how to SaaS-ify any Drupal distro.
